Dante's The Hell (Graphic Novel) - Greek

"The hell" is the first of three parts of Dante's "Divine Comedy" and one of the great classics of Italian literature. Guided by the poet Virgil, Dante crosses the nine circles of hell to find his beloved Beatrice in Paradise.

The two brothers, Paul and Gaëtan Brizzi, born in 1951, are illustrators and apprenticed alongside the famous French cartoonist Paul Grimault. In 1977, they won the César Award for Best Animated Short with the film Fracture.

"Inferno" is an excellent rendition of this great classic in a graphic novel, making it accessible to younger readers while staying true to the spirit of the classic text.
